FP-2260 COF Tester (Coefficient of Friction Tester) / Peel Tester provides more information with fewer keystrokes and offers the capability to run the machine in five languages. It also provides the ability to create, save, and password-protect test setups. The COF test mode can be configured to measure the static and kinetic coefficient of friction as well as slide angle. The Peel Tester mode can test the seal strength, and peel properties of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, corrugated/cardboard, labels, and packaging materials. The Peel Tester can be configured to perform 180° peel tests, 90° peel tests, and T-peel tests. The Tensile Tester mode can be configured to perform lightweight tensile tests up to 10 kg (22 lbs).

The FP-2260 utilizes a multifunctional keypad which allows users to easily navigate through the menu options. The crosshead and the load cell are adjustable to allow ease of use when changing test setups. The system also offers the ability to test to a specific distance or a specific time. The FP-2260 comes standard with the auto-return/stop option at the end of a test.

When selecting a COF tester one FP-2260 advantage is the large front panel display screen. The front display is 240 pixels x 64 pixels and is designed for readability by the operator. The memory capacity on the FP-2260 can store up to 128 individual tests for each mode (COF, Peel, Tensile).

For added versatility the FP-2260 offers optional accessories to add testing options:
