PN-PDT paper dirt tester is made according to GB/T154l (Paper and board-Determination of dirt). The degree of dirt is the number of dirt with a certain area per square meter of paper and cardboard, or the equivalent area (mm2) of dust on paper and cardboard per square meter. Dust is a kind of defect of paper appearance, which can be inspected by eye, hand, and nose. It is impurities such as black, yellow, dark yellow, yellow brown, or brown dots that are significantly different from the color of the paper.

A high degree of dirt will reduce the printing quality. In the printing of coated paper, cardboard, and white cardboard, especially in color printing, the effect of the degree of dust is particularly obvious, affecting the printing quality.

Tingkat kotoran adalah jumlah kotoran dengan luas tertentu per meter persegi kertas dan karton, atau luas yang setara (mm2) debu pada kertas dan karton per meter persegi. Debu adalah sejenis cacat penampilan kertas, yang dapat diperiksa dengan mata, tangan, dan hidung. Ini adalah kotoran seperti titik-titik hitam, kuning, kuning tua, kuning coklat, atau coklat yang sangat berbeda dari warna kertas.

Tingkat kotoran yang tinggi akan mengurangi kualitas pencetakan. Dalam pencetakan kertas berlapis, karton, dan karton putih, terutama dalam pencetakan warna, efek tingkat debu sangat jelas, mempengaruhi kualitas pencetakan.
